“ Every dish we had felt special, like a lot of innovation went into it. From the Goat cheese to the half chicken. Scallops were fabulous as well. Can't wait to go back! ”

“ This was our first visit to Silo and we went for the experience of KC Restaurant Week. The atmosphere was perfect including the lighting, sound, and decor. It was not loud in the restaurant and the volume dispersion was perfect. The menu provided a nice variety, although one more option (per course) would have potentially been beneficial. The host staff were friendly. The wait staff were very informed, polite, and present. If you had even 1/3 of your water glass empty, they refilled your glass. If a plate was empty, it was cleared almost immediately. The food was wonderful. We enjoyed the goat cheese spread as our appetizer course. The homemade whipped goat cheese was wonderful paired with a small amount of berries, greens, mustard seed, prosciutto, and honey to arrange as you desired on crostinis. Our second course was a charcoal flatbread and garlic prawns. They both were great. The flatbread was a very large portion although very, very thin. The garlic prawns were served atop a polenta cake in a pleasant tomato sauce. For our third course we had the beef shoulder with garlic prawns and chimichurri sauce skewered on a bed of lyonnaise potatoes, as well as the orange sesame Chilean salmon with sushi rice and kimchi slaw. Both main courses were delightful. The flavors were rich, but not overwhelming! Finally, for dessert, we had the raspberry sorbet and basque cherry cheesecake. The raspberry sorbet was perfectly tart and the cheesecake was perfect with a few berries on top of whipped cream and a cherry drizzle around the plate. While dining we also had the pleasure of meeting the service manager who was on the floor greeting patrons and asking how everything is and what recommendations - if any - we had. This was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be going back in the future for regular dining. ”

“ Will for sure have to go back. The breadless bread rolls made me laugh. Good if you like just soft crust. Supposed to be cheese in it or something, but didn't matter because we got the huge Tomahawk Steak. Ordered medium rare, was still a little red in the middle. Which I suppose is expected for a 40oz cut. Not a problem, my date likes it more raw anyways. The Red Wine Demi-Glace was really good addition. Was there like goat cheese in the polenta cakes side? Not a fan. Service was good. Loved the waitress. Got four different cocktails which all came out very quickly. Paloma was a bit heavy on the smokey flavor. ”

The food is consistently excellent—delicious, creative, and clearly rooted in their farm-to-table philosophy. You can taste the quality and freshness in every bite. The drinks are just as impressive, with a well-crafted cocktail menu and thoughtful selections that pair beautifully with the food. The ambiance is also a big win—both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are inviting, and the view is absolutely gorgeous, especially during sunset. It does get busy, especially for larger parties, so I highly recommend making a reservation. This place has definitely earned a spot on my list of local favorites! ”

Cody was so much fun and just a terrific bartender who definitely knows how to make a perfect Old Fashioned!
